elves and Magic items

I do frequent joint attacks with an ally. I am knight, he has pointy ears and wears tights.

Whenever we find a magic items in a ruin 90% of the time it goes to him, no matter who is the lead attacker.

My hero is higher than his and had a higher artefact hunter rating yet time and time gain he gets the magic item.

why?

is there a built-in game bias favouring boys in tights?

I`m sorry - I just kept laughing for several days because of your hilarious question! Well, the system does not prefer boys in tights for sure. I was at first suspicious whether monsters do... But doesn`t seem to be the case - they claim to be all straight... straight against any tights. It`s just bad luck. So even you wearing tights wouldn`t change much.

nope its not bad luck

we hit between 5 and 8 ruins almost every day and have done for several weeks. Its always the same story.

5 done so far today - He has had 3 magic items so far and me 0

par for course.

We`ve checked the whole system once again - there are no preferences. Finding magic item is random.

The same happens to me all the time. When I was counting, I got 25% of magic items from joint attacks. It's just bad luck.

The first 8 magic items I found in joint attacks all went to the other person, then I got 3 in a row. It's random, over enough time it'll even itself out
