Why it is invisible the hero?

It is invisible the hero, its artifacts, on how many it is deafened
I had the same problem. Almost half of Aggressive ruins conceal their hero and I cannot look what abilities they have. Annoying.
So, is it a bug or a skill of monsters' heroes?
