Initially I sent My newly formed Army out to defend it. But then I saw what I was up against - and called them back to save on casualties!
Being a Newbie to this game I felt quite gutted to see My Iron being stolen by someone with far greater experience than Me. Not to mention his far larger, better trained Army!
I decided to save what I could, and sent My first of 2 Merchant Missions to take My Iron back home, to the safety of The Ancients.
At the very last minute before attack, I sent another cart of iron home.
